  • New Workshop: "Getting Started with Grants & Galleries"

    Art Industry Law will host “Getting Started with Grants &Galleries” at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council on Saturday, November 20.The workshop is open to local artists and nonprofit organizers who wish to enhance their grant-writing skills, or perhaps delve into the area for the first time! The workshop will also discuss common gallery contract issues and help attendees ensure an amiable and successful gallery-artist relationship from beginning to end. Taught in partnership with ArtDimensions Pittsburgh.

    Cost: $3 (ArtDimensions members); $5 (non-members)

  • New Publication for Art Industry Law Partner

    A case study by ARTiLaw Partner Daniel Friedson appeared in a recent issue of the Roger Williams University Law Review.   "An Access to Justice Case Study: A Practitioner's Call for Leadership in Implementing Homeownership Legal Clinics and Equity Protection Partnerships" can be found in Volume 15, Number 2, pages 499 - 520.
